On 30th January 2009 Cambridge Rotaract went on a group visit to Salzburg Austria, visiting many of the central architectural sites such as the Cathedral, the monastic brewery, the Mozart museum and some of the spectacular alpine sites outside of the city. The group went on 'The Sound Of Music' tour and looked at some of the key locations from the film (made in the 1960s). Some photographs are below.
We were thankful for finding such good value accommodation at the Mozart Hotel and were the first in our greater circles to experience snow before the uncommonly snowful weather we experienced recently here in the UK.
The group aims for another group trip in the Summer after the success of this trip. Many thanks to Jemma for organising.
